J. C. Aggarwal was one of the significant academic voices associated with Doaba’s Education and Teacher-Training vertical. An accomplished educationist, he began his career as a lecturer in a Teachers’ Training College and later served in senior positions in the Delhi Administration, retiring as Deputy Director of Education and Executive Director of the Delhi Bureau of Textbooks. His extensive body of work spans education, educational psychology, administration, teacher education and the development of the Indian education system. Through important Doaba titles including Education in India, Educational Administration & Management and works on nursery and elementary education, his contribution helped strengthen a tradition of dependable academic resources for B.Ed., M.Ed., teacher-training students and educators across India.
